I haven’t talked to my ex-boyfriends since forever, and now all of them are tracking me down at once! What’s up with this?
When it rains, it pours! It’s like when you’re single, members of the opposite sex are few and far between, but when you’re shackled up, they’re everywhere and yours for the choosing. It’s a weird thing, but maybe they’re taking action on lingering feelings or maybe they’re just attempting to recycle (like you’ve never done that.) It could be for so many different reasons, so enjoy the attention.
But I’m a firm believer in not opening up that can of worms. You broke up with these guys for a reason, so try and remember that when you make contact with them. You’ve moved on, and letting someone back into your life that wasn’t right in the first place might not be a smart move. Time has passed and you’re better than that. Go find your next future ex-boyfriend.

So you’ve got this great guy friend who you’ve known since the moment you began freshman year at college. He’s hilarious, has amazing blue eyes and he’s the only guy that knows how disgusting your teeth look after chowing down on Oreos. You trust him, and you love him, but … only as a friend.
Lately though, after a few beers, you see this “friend” in a whole new light. Suddenly, you find him brutally hot, and the next thing you know he’s lying next to you in bed after a night of um … er … sex.
Yes, you just got booty from your buddy.
Confused girls everywhere officially call this “friends with benefits”: a platonic relationship with the benefits of sex and an unspoken consent against any exclusive relationship between the two parties. Sounds fun at first, but is it really having your cake and eating it, too?
The truth is, it can completely ruin a relationship. Problems arise when one person ends up developing feelings for the other person – and this always happens. Chances are, he or she won’t feel the same and that’s when jealousy takes hold. Ultimately, awkwardness develops between two people who thought they could talk about anything.
So, we’re making the official call on this one: “Friends with benefits” is sticky territory. Proceed with caution. Better yet, don’t proceed at all. The next time your blue-eyed buddy looks better than a best friend, think twice before locking lips.
