Gap is just one of many retailers taking part in the new (Product)Red campaign. Every time you purchase (RED) products at The Gap, a portion of the proceeds will be contributed to AIDS programs in Africa focused on helping women and children.

Did you know that there are 40 million people infected with AIDS in the world, 25 million of which are in Africa alone? Of those, the fastest-growing group living with AIDS is women. With no medical aid, more than 13 million African children have been left diseased or orphaned. Buying a pair of jeans can keep a child live for an entire year; it doesn’t get much easier than that!

The best part: The stuff is totally cute. From (RED) logo T-shirts to the sexiest Skinny Jeans on the market, the (RED) merchandise is exactly what you would buy this season, anyway!

Not a fan of the color red? Don’t worry; while some of the stuff is actually red, there are plenty of products that aren’t. Gap will be contributing to this campaign for at least the next five years. You have plenty of time to help.
