Celeb Style: What Up Shorty?

Britney Spears took the pixie trend a little too far. So obviously I’m not about to tell you to shave your head. But my favorite gals like Michelle Williams, Selma Blair and Victoria Beckham are taking a cue from those mod models in the 60’s, a la Twiggy. They are cropping their hair to boyish proportions and busting out some serious bleach! 

While I am devoted to my long locks, I think this is a great look for the bold and beautiful on campus. I feel this cut works best on girls with small faces and a healthy dose of self-confidence and femininity because, let’s face it this cut can be unforgiving…

The biggest plus is that the pixie cut is very low-maintenance and requires no blow-drying, only some styling wax and shine products. Now when you wake up 10 minutes before class your hair won’t look like a bird’s nest.
