YouTube’s Gettin’ Sued

My beloved website (YouTube), where I watch retarded/hilarious/strange videos countless times a day, is under attack by Viacom. Apparently, after being demanded not to, YouTube has continued to feature Viacom network content, like The Daily Show with John Stewart and The Colbert Report. So now Google’s “adopted child,” if you will, is being smacked with a $1 billion charge. Whoa mama!
Judging from what I understand about all this (which isn’t a whole lot), it’s predicted that YouTube will settle and agree to stop showing Viacom videos or whatever. As long as it doesn’t affect my access to this lovely source of procrastination, I think I’m cool with it.
