Celebs are lining up to help PlantLife sales. Lindsay Lohan, Evangeline Lily, Maria Menounos, Mariska Hargitay, and Sarah Chalke (whom I adore on Scrubs) all have their own shade of lipstick that they helped to design and is dedicated to them.

This earthy cosmetics make any treehugger happy since all are comprised of natural ingredients, like meadowfoam seed oil, jojoba and shea butter. The tube is made out of corn, and corn is a renewable resource. I remember that term from science class back in middle school. I don’t really remember exactly what it means, but I know it’s a good thing. Hey, at least I remember that much. Thanks, Mr. Waldon! Or whatever your name was.

Anyway, the carton is made of flower paper with actual seeds in it – which means, you can plant the carton when the lipstick is used up, and grow a plant! Cool, huh? A lipstick plant that grows flowers! How magical and girly!

This lipstick is a must-have. And if your mom sees you charged a $20 lipstick at Sephora on your credit card bill, just tell her you’re one step closer to saving the planet, because you are.
