My Man Steve Madden- He Knows How To Please.
I love my man. I met him back in 6th grade, and I fell in love. I feel so blessed to have such a long, trusting realtionship. Every year, every season, he brings me so many pretty things. We have really grown together. He knows exactly what I like and every year, even with all my indecisiveness and ever-changing moods and tastes, he has stood up to the challange. And this year, Steve Madden, my main man (in shoes that is… although I would never object to dating a man who could literally make me the little old lady who lived in her shoe) has made me proud again by bringing a plethora of styles to feed my/your foot fetish.
And what’s more is that right now on SteveMadden.com and in Steve Madden stores nation wide there is a major sale going on. (um, who’s excited for the next rainy day?)
Steve’s shoes this summer are so similar to those of the uber–exclusive (read: muy expensivo) designers…. (many are much cuter and for ¼ of the price much more appealing) I saw a shoe JUST like these by Marc Jacobs. Adorable!
These sandals: Sannibel are super cute and super comfortable. Rock them with jean shorts, a vintage T and some aviators for a fun day look that says “I should be a celeb, I just haven’t been discovered yet”.
If you’re looking for shoes to wear out tonight, go for a fun wedge like this if you are wearing wide-legs or trying out the high-waisted look (but please beware of the camel toe- no one will notice your shoes if your pants are all bunched up in a frontal-wedgie fashion).
Pumps like the Purdy are perfect if you are opting for skinny jeans or any sort of cropped pant. (they are cute in all colors, but the blue patent is so the color of the season)
And for a more casual yet pulled together look- take a look at the Tippytoe must-have flats. Perfect enough to take you from your job/internship straight to happy hour.
This year, fashion is a bit all over the place- and same goes for shoes. From wedges to patent leather to flats you can’t go wrong. This is good news for your tootsies- you can find the shoe that’s right for YOU… the one’s that say “I promise I won’t distract you from talking to that cute boy by hurting your feet so badly”
So go ahead, take a look- your feet (and your wallet) will thank you when they are dressed to the nines and you still have enough stashed away to buy a drink (while wearing your new shoes of course).
And if you’re in a bit of a nostalgic mood, put on your Spice Girls, get out your butterfly clips and slip on these bad boys. Anyone who was anyone had The Slinky back in the 6th grade. Yes, I was just as surprised as you to see that they still make these!
