Photoshop Freak Shows

My day is officially made.

Faith Hill, who once actually looked like this before the magical days of Photoshop, is not quiiiiite as hot these days.

And justifiably so – she’s older, she’s been married for years and she’s had a few babies. Age and experience will do that to a person. Natural aging is GOOD, people.

But, Photoshop is the way of the world now, it cannot be avoided, and on a recent cover of Redbook, notice how Faith has been lifted, sculpted, trimmed and perfected. Miraculously, she transforms from looking how a 40-year-old should actually look to the ideal 25-year-old, with a few simple clicks of a mouse.

It doesn’t end here. Check out this amazing website full of HOT, SEXY, FLAWLESS CELEBS…..that is, before the digitally and technologically-gifted hands had their way with them.

So, you mean to tell me that Eva Longoria actually needs to sport more flesh in order to look more appealing to the masses and that Beyonce has a stomach when she sits down? PREPOSTEROUS! Quite shocking at first, but really, are you that surprised to see wrinkles, pimples and things they don’t want you to see, ever? Nah. And I think these things are awesome to see, for the good of society and how much importance we place on physical image.

I understand that these bodies need to sell products and make money, and so Photoshop does its job beautifully. I just wish little girls who see these covers and aspire to have imaginary, computer-enhanced skin and stomachs knew right off the bat that it’s pretty close to impossible.

Especially if you look like this; Photoshop can’t make all miracles happen.
