How about we bash him for just being awful. Not because he's exploring new ideas (idiot, it's all been done before so it's not exactly new). My girlfriend liked this guy until I pointed out the craters in his face on that movie he co-starred in with Jason Biggs. He's stolen other comics material, over acted in every movie, and yet you retarded people laugh as if you were huffing paint. I guess some of us are more intelligent than those who support the "comedic" style of Dane Cook. I'll be happy just to shut off my t.v. because he's basically stolen a lot of his material from lesser successful comics who has deserved it more. Thanks Dane, you suck.

First of all, Dane Cook is still funny and he will ALWAYS be funny regardless of what people like you have to say. Secondly, if you liked him once and then just decided that you don't like him anymore because other people like him, then you're stupid. Thirdly, he has not "sold out", he still stays true to himself and to his fans. Like the other comments said, who cares if he wants to try new things, a lot of singers/actors/whatever try things in different areas of entertainment. I don't care if you hate him as an actor or as a musician but DO NOT hate him as a comedian or as a person. He is one of the most genuine stars out there. He truly cares about his fans and he will always be willing to take a picture with you or sign an autograph if you happen to run into him, and not alot of celebs are willing to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their fans like he does. He even has a myspace which he updates HIMSELF. He singlehandedly goes through his friend requests and approves people and tries his best to comment his fans back. Find me someone else who will do that for their fans, and then we'll talk but for now you're an idiot who will never ever be as successful as dane. end of story.

I don't think Dane Cook could ever go wrong in what he does. He stays true to himself and all his fans. Personaly, I think a lot of comedians have a deeper some times unhappy side of themselves. And because of the hurt they have experienced they have found a way to turn the negative into a positive. That is how they let go of all the bad shit. I mean check out George Lopez. He took his bad childhood and made it into some serioulsy funny comedy. So just because Dane shares a bit of his more serious side, doesn't make him less funny or a "sell out", it makes him a freakin' human being. And if you can't see that, then you were never a true member of the SuFi Nation!

Well, I have to agree that "Forward" isn't very good, but "I'll Never Be You" started out as a joke and was kind of funny. But you have to admit Dane Cook is still a pretty funny bitch, no matter if he is trying a new career that just doesn't work for him. His comedy is still funny as hell, so just sit down and shut the f*** up!

id like to see you try your hand at everything he does….i'd say hes pretty damn successful. so if you don't like him anymore, thats great, but unless you've been there, done that, you have absolutely no room to put down his attempt at music and movies..most people, including myself, seem to love him in whatever he does, maybe thats just not your thing. but dont try to bash him for being a success with the world

i love dane cook; & i love everything that he does. he is an awesome human being & MAYBE just MAYBE his new song is all sappy & about moving forward because his mom passed away about 8 or 9 months ago. it could be his way of doing something special & away from his regular work in memory of his mother. you insensative PRICK!

As much as you can bash him, you can't go around saying someone sucks because he's exploring new sides of his mind. If he wants to make movies, write songs, and other things, why not let him? He might rock, he might suck. Let him find out for himself. If he really does go downhill on his movies and music, maybe he'll go back to comedy. Hope, don't insult.

Personally, I think the new angles of his work are pretty damn good.
