I've known this kid since I was in middle school and I've had a crush on him off and on (I'm now in my mid-20s). we kept in touch, went to high school together, but went our separate ways for college. a few months ago, we bumped into each other, and he asked me out. we've been dating ever since, and it's definitely amazing how there's no awkardness and we just keep having these "I can't believe this is finally happening" moments. then I found out he'd had a crush on me on and off all this time, too!
