The value of the dollar is par with the National Enquirer right now. I think if we as American workers, and young aspiring professionals, get a little bit smarter about how we spend out money…it might go a long way. Between oil and chinese goods, all of our spending is going overseas. I know it might not be popular, but if we looked for more American made goods, it might help – but where the hell do I find American made jeans in my size!!!!????

I work in retail and the hours we get are based on our sales. And with this recession sales have been horrible! I'm only getting one shift a week at both jobs and I haven't been able to make my car payment for the past 2 months. In 3 years of having a car I have never missed a payment. So yeah, this definitely has me worried. It's already changed my future. I was supposed to move to Tallahassee next semester but since I'm not getting shifts I can't save any money, and can't afford to move.
