I have my tongue, nose, eyebrow, bellybutton, and three on each ear. I have been told I wear them very feminine and pretty, I choose a small stud for the nose, a regular ball for the eyebrow, and a colorful one for the tongue, a dangly for the bellybutton, and two studs in the ear, with one hoop. ^Generally.

I had a very fast upbringing. When I'm talking fast, I mean FAST. But I came onto piercings a lot quicker than I thought I would. I always swore to myself, "I wont get THAT done." but once I got it, "well then i wont get THAT OTHER THING done." but its addicting.

I have the perfect body for piercing. I have a super-high pain tolerance, and I don't think it hurt a bit, and I'm responsible enough to take care of it and use good hygiene.

I got my first, second, and third holes in each ear when I was 11.

When I was 12, I decided (high) to pierce my nose myself. I didn't even use a needle. I just marked the place and worked an earring through.

When I was 13, I had a friend pierce my bellybutton. It got infected. I took it out. I went to a place, a trainee did it, but it looked crooked, so I had another guy in the same place take it out and re-do it.

This satisfied me. When I was 14, I had gotten really wasted the night before, and woke up with an eyebrow piercing. It looked professional enough, and classy. So I kept it there.

My dad had always told me,

"You can get any piercing you want, except for the tongue."

Of course I never told him when I got my piercings, he was far away.

When I was 14 1/2, I went to a shop with my bestfriend while she was getting her bellybutton done, and the prices were unbelievably cheap for a tongue piercing (25$). Keep in mind this was the same place that I went for a bellybutton piercing(where they messed up), and it was no bigger than a goddamn hotdog stand. Anyhow, I got my tongue pierced and the same thing happened. It looked crooked, I told them to take it out and repierce it. It was bleeding a lot, but didn't hurt.

I'm fully satisfied and feel they couldn't suit me better. :)

I personally have 12 piercings (6 pairs, 3 in my lobes, 2 in my cartilage) and I love them. I think that a person should be allowed to do as they please with their bodies, afterall, it's them who has to live with it, not some annoyingly curious person who sees them or an agitated family member. I would love to get more done, not because I like pain, but because it helps show my personality, it's a comfort thing. If people can dress in weird clothing and can say "this makes me different" then I can get a hole made on a random part of my body and say the same thing. A lot of people, however, equate a piercing to a tattoo. They just don't get the fact that, when I'm tired of having the holes in my ears and anywhere else I choose to get them, I can take them out and, with time, they're gone. Yes, piercings can be permanent, but hey, so is that scar from when you were a kid and scraped your knee in a bad fall, but no one bitches about that, now do they?

For K - it's a ROOK. Its a cartilage piercing for your ear. Google it, I think it's awesome.

I have my lip pierced, and I'm getting my industrial as soon as I'm out of season (I play softball for Emerson). I love my piercings and cannot wait to get more!

My nose piercing hurt, but it was because I got it done at a skeezy place and I think maybe the guy was drunk!? (but it was over in less than 3 seconds)

...it was the few weeks following that was annoying. Sore to the touch and when you accidentally rip it out...OUCH.

But I love it and I'd do it again :)

I've got double holes in both lobes, and a double cartilage on my right ear. I love my ear piercings! I really want to get my nose done but I've watched several friends get it done and it looks so painful!!

For you all, how bad did your nose hurt comparatively?
