    About the whole make-up/ Hannah Montana thingamabob…I had laser tag parties and events at Chuck E Cheese. Never would I ever had anything like that. Never mind the fact that my parents couldn't and wouldn't spend that type of money on something so (in the long run) useless. I'm 20 and I've never had a manicure and oddly enough, I don't feel like I'm missing out. I sincerely hope that I ever have a daughter, she won't want to have anything like that- I would never be able to afford it.

    that was so upsetting to see all of those little girls getting manicures and highlights and whatnot at such a young age. now the children are already so deep into our disgusting consumer culture and have such high (and pointless) standards of beauty and they don't even know it. its just another example of horrible parenting.
