College Callgirl? Yeah, Right.
Again, like Abigail of Syracuse before me, I will preface this post by saying no, I am not the author of Confessions of a College Callgirl. So now that’s cleared, lets get right to my bitch.
Are we really serious with this?
Honestly?
For those of you who don’t know, Confessions of a College Callgirl is a blog about a girl, presumably in college, who works as a prostitute for her source of income. Feel free to do your own research, then come back and see whether or not you agree with me.
I’ve been perusing a bunch of her blogs. I probably could do a really amazing research paper with this if I really wanted. I also could probably decide if I thought everything she said was legit truth or not. As of right now…I do think she’s actually doing some of this stuff. I don’t think she’s fabricating all of it…I just think she’s fabricating a LOT.
For one, this isn’t a blog – it’s a low-grade erotica publication. If she was what she says she is, which is a call girl putting herself through college, why the hell would she detail exactly what she does to her clients? We all know how to put two and two together…prostitutes have sex. For money. Is this not common knowledge? Let me know if it isn’t. Someone should let her know that literotica.com has much better material, thanks very much.
Secondly, she seems surprisingly nonchalant about her encounters and the emotions that come with them. If I was putting myself through college by virtue of handjobs, first off I’d be embarrassed. Second, I wouldn’t tell people exactly how the encounters went. If I were to blog about this (presuming I’d want ANYONE to know about it), I’d be a tad more nondescript in terms of what I did to people. I know she keeps her identity a secret but still. If I was going to be a whore to fund my college tuition (which, I HAVE considered, halfheartedly, several times. This sh*t ain’t cheap), I would at least make my blogging experience constructive. You don’t need to give us the juicy (literally) details, how about you just…reflect. We KNOW what you are doing. We’re not stupid. Never make a reader feel stupid.
She’s in college, yes. I can’t tell where she goes or what her year is (whether or not she’s grad or undergrad). She alludes to her “youth and good looks” as her means for accomplishing this absurd feat so I am assuming she’s an undergrad or a young grad student. Which means we probably are in a very similar demographic. So if she’s not much older than me, can someone tell her that blowing guys for money to go shopping on 5th Avenue is not necessary?
Maybe I am bitter. I know I’m pretty freakin’ poor. There’s $28.89 in my bank account (don’t judge me, please). I know that she’s making absurd amounts of money in half an hour. So maybe I’m just jealous. Maybe I’m pissed because I absolutely love sex, and to get paid for it would be the most enjoyable and convenient thing. Maybe I’m even more pissed because there is virtually no market for lesbian prostitutes (actually, am I wrong about this? Let me know.).
Then I remember:
I’m 20. I’m not a slut. I have standards, and I’d rather be poor for the rest of my life.
We can immortalize something like this and think, ‘Wow, she is a powerful woman getting what she wants in life‘, but I say f*ck that. Hooking is the easiest job because SOMEONE will always want to stick something in your whatever. Stop being lazy and get a real job. You live in NEW YORK F*CKING CITY. You really can’t find a decent paying job?
I live in Boston, sh*t is expensive up here too, but I’m not hooking in the Common or Dorchester at night just to pay for my whims.
This kind of stuff just pisses me off. If it’s fake, and it’s some sort of experiment for some class at NYU, good job girl, you fooled a lot of people.
If it’s real, chick, you have my pity.

Are you serious? This girl’s blog is awesome..and it seems pretty realistic. Lots of people read and look forward to new updates in this girl’s blog so obviously people like it. And yes, there are a lot of well-paying jobs in NY but it’s ridiculously hard to land one especially if you’re in full or part-time and don’t have all the necessary degrees yet. Also, none of them pay as much as this girl probably makes. If she wants to have sex for money, no one should look down on that. She’s obviously very talented at writing..and hooking. Lawyers lie for money, but that’s a ‘respected’ profession…

girl, are you seriously comparing lawyers to hookers? Lawyers go to college and law school and hookers suck dick for a living. If the city is too expensive for her, she should move somewhere else. having sex for money is not only ILLEGAL but also degrading to women. She might think its empowering her to get what she wants but it makes men think less of women as people and more as sex objects. It does seem like she is a talented writer.. she should do something with those skills instead of exploiting herself.

In the end, this comes down to seeing sex as just another skill, much like other kinds of jobs demanding physical labor.
While I too would never even dream of doing this to make money, I wouldn’t call her a slut either. She’s making money in her own way, which is different from what sluts actually do.

I'm just going to say that there IS a market for lesbian prostitutes. I can't just this girl for her decisions.

She talks about how she is dependent on other people finding her pretty and is obsessed with feeling wanted from other people, especially sex. She defines herself through her sex life – in my book, that constitutes as being a slut

why the heck would you link to her.
She gets enough crap from people to begin with.
Also, she is no longer working.

totally agree with the first who said grils should be smart and be realistic!’coz the reality is much more cruel than what we thought; and as far as i know, many pretty college students are now dating on a famous wealthy people dating site : _millionaireloves.com_ indeed, it’s much more beeter to find ur perfect lover who’s also rich! and that’s why it’s gaining popularity!!

I think most of the stuff she writes about are stories that someone told her, and some are hers. I think of her as someone whos going to pay her student loans very soon, and not necesaraly a slut.

I agree that what she’s doing is pathetic and definitely “slutty” by definition. I think it’s entertaining though (wow, that sounds really sick) and a reality that people do it. Doesn’t mean I would or I think what she’s doing is right.
And you’re correct, sh*t is expensive in Boston! But I will not turn to hooking up in the streets, either

You aren't much of a writer. "Immortalize"? Her blog is a million times more interesting than your writing.

The college callgirl column doesn’t seem THAT far fetched to me.
I encountered one of those “college student needs money” ads. Right.
Well, yeah, see needed a little cash, was a little nervous, didn’t charge enough, writes well. Great to talk with. Sharp. Witty. Naked. Doing whatever I wanted her to.
So they’re really out there. I mean, I had an English grad student standing around the school gardens naked for photography, just for a few bucks and because she kind of liked taking her clothes off. And now she’s a professor!
But given the quantity of material, I’d think she’d have to be in grad school now.

It is so sad to know that things like that happen in our world. Its the sad truth of reality. Do I think she is(or was) a slut? Yeah..Do I think women selling their bodies for cash(NO MATTER WHAT REASON) is wrong? Yeah..Did she regret it? Yeah…Do I wish that at the moment she was about to decide(and all other women who do this) to sell her body for college…That I could appear in front of her and give her money, or try to help her think of another way? Yes, I do.
However, in reality things does not happen like my previous sentence, and things like this has been happening way before I was born. How to stop unfortunate stories like hers from happening again? I don't know… But I am happy she realized her mistakes and hope things are going good for her again.
With stories like this I think the best thing we can do is hope(pray if your a religious person) that these things would stop happening. That is all we can do because there is really no solution for the problem(at least none a college male student could think of).

Just another bitter lesbian who, instead of trying to make her life better, judges others. Good luck, sour puss. Maybe your family can support you.

There is a lot of self reflection on that blog. There are many of her posts dedicated to self esteem, self worth, the fucked up shit she's dealt with and dealt herself. If you had bothered to read more of her blog than just the blow job posts, I like to think you'd get a different opinion. I don't think you're jealous of her money or notoriety. I think you're just jealous she's a better writer than you, all while fucking her way through most of New York City. Sounds like you're getting a great edumakashun up there in Bah-ston. Enjoy your pedestal.

Confessions of a College Callgirl reads like poorly written fiction. After two posts (her first and last) I confirmed I'd wasted 10 minutes I'll never get back. Some people turn to crime because they don't know any better, haven't had exposure to a single positive role model, and don't have the family or education to support mature decisions. This budding fictional writer chose to glamorize illegal activity. Being college educated, she couldn't claim ignorance. Having a parent sending her money, she couldn't claim lack of support. Either way, the character is greedy, lazy, and no better than a drug dealer or anyone else who chooses crime because it's easier and pays better. I hope the author's writing and subject matter has improved since then.

she rights about her sexual encounters because they are interesting to right about, the blog is called "collegecallgirl" obviously the subject will be her hooking. just because she can laugh at the things she does doesnt mean she doesnt take them seriously or that they dont have an emotional toll. she is also an incredible writer, more than you can say
