This piece is great, and I applaud your criticism of the travel industry. It's problematic, the way they can use writers who are young and willing to write for zilch. I feel for you. I do. Being a writer myself, trying to make my way as a freelancer, having left the Ivory Tower behind, it's tough as hell . . . You sound dedicated, and that's good. We're lucky to have writers like you. Lord knows, I couldn't do it. So, thanks for keeping your job, and writing about the places you visit. It means something to people like me.
