You Suck, Katherine Heigl

Last week the release of the Emmy nominations brought some serious drama from the set of Grey’s Anatomy. As everyone who turns on the tv (or visits this site) already knows, Katherine Heigl said something very, very stupid. Something along the lines of, “I am a really great actress and I deserve an Emmy, but the lazy writers on my show didn’t really give me much to work with, so I decided to bow out to make people believe I am a kindhearted actress.”
Woops?
Naturally, this caused quite a commotion in the media and over at ABC where, apparently, Heigl has been stirring the pot. It seems that Kat has been demanding more money per episode and attempting to get out of her contract. ABC seems to be worried about losing her; she is one of the most well-known actors on the show — thanks to her recent box office hits – and losing her could mean losing some serious advertising moolah.
I know that I don’t know much about producing a TV show, but I do know a ton about watching one, so I feel that my opinion matters. So, I have one thing to say:
See ya later, Heigl. Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on your way out.
I may stand alone on this one, but I hate her. HATE. Ok, maybe not her; Izzy. I hate Izzy Stevens. I think her character is annoying and I just can’t stand watching her on the show anymore. She is so mushy and pathetic and annoying. I know that her character is meant to balance out the less sympathetic characters (Yang), but it has just gone too far. She crosses the line with every freaking patient and, frankly, that story is getting old.
And now – now that we know she is pretty sucky in real life, too – I see no reason to keep her on the show. She wants to leave, ABC; so let her. I know you don’t want to lose viewers, but I really feel that this may bring some back. Oh, and while you are taking my advice, why not replace her with another sexy male doctor? Mmmm.

I totally agree. I was so done with her when she killed Denny (even if it did help to get Burke shot) and then went all crazy. I know I wouldnt miss her.

I'm slowly being won over to the 'I Hate Heigl' camp. Izzy used to be my favorite female character (just because Meredith is way too emo for me most of the time). But after reading article after article about what a bitch she is and the things she says… I definitely wouldn't be upset if she left the show.

I don't know, I kinda liked her before, and I just read what she said, and I watched the lates episodes of grey's anatomy (spoiler coming up) and I hate how the Denny story is STILL not over. I mean, it's really not sad or anything like that anymore. It just doesn't have anything to do with the show anymore, so they should get rid of both of them, so they can be together in Heaven. OR WHATEVER:D

The reason I stopped watching Grey's is because of Izzie Stephens. The character stinks; and I shudder to think that in a real hospital, Izzie Stephens would still have a job after 1. killing a patient, 2. her numerous emotional breakdowns, 3. the low level of respect that her interns have for her and 4. her completely unprofessional relationship with patients. I wonder if the Grey's writers are getting back at her for being a bitch with the recent ridiculous plots.
