The Cookie Diet: Is This For Real?

composite330.jpgI am not gonna lie; the fact that I have three bikinis staring at me from my closet and a 10-day forecast of sun, sun and more sun makes me want to lose weight, like, yesterday. Nothing drastic – just like 20 pounds by tomorrow.

I started by throwing away the giant Dunkin’ Donuts cookie (well, the half I hadn’t already scarfed) and started Googling.

“Miracle Diets”

“Lose Weight Now”

“Losing Weight Without Giving Up Cookies”

Oh my god. It is possible. The Cookie Diet.

Could it be? I mean, eat 4 cookies a day and lose weight? Those things have to either:

A) Taste like sh*t

B) Leave my hungering for….everything

C) Taste like absolute sh*t

The cookies look like mini turds, so I have this inkling that this diet may indeed be too good to be true. But I am still so intrigued. I mean, I looooove cookies and I really love my bikinis. I feel like I have to try it.

Does anyone know anything about this?

It’s advertised in the ’skymall’ airplane magazine.

I don’t think it works unless most of your weight is located in your wallet.

I believe it consists of something like eating only a couple cookies a day- that’s it! So of course you would lose weight…

I know someone who did it – it’s like being on slim fast. Couple of cookies and a sensible dinner. She said that the cookies were okay.

The first ingredient in those cookies has to be white flour and the second has to be sugar. Blech.

    Hi,
Has anyone used or has tried this Cookie Diet at http://www.smartforlifedietcookie.com. I have tried it and it seems to be a great way to control your appetite. Their medical diet program claims to help you lose 14 lbs. in a very short time. But you have to be examined by a doctor first. So I don’t know anyone has been on this long term and its effects.

    Thanks.
