Amen Phil!! Our parents (however well-intentioned) raised us to be sheltered, little pussies. When it comes time to compete on the world stage, as this generation will have to do more than any generation before it, we are going to get our asses handed to us. At that point mommy and daddy won't be around to protect us (but maybe they'll let us move back in with them). Nap rooms...pathetic. You think the newly rising middle class in India and China demand nap rooms at work? Wake up kids. We're soft and weak and primed for being over-taken. Good job! Trophies and hugs all around!

What's funny is that all these old motherf*ckers are right, and we're going to learn it the hard way. When the rest of the world overtakes the US we're all going to learn what hard work and responsibility mean again, probably by working 60 hours or more a week. The persuit of "real" happiness won't seem so real when you have to compete with 1.3 billion chinese. I for one, am going to be happy to see this peter pan generation finally grow up.

Who wrote this article? Conan or A.D. of Columbia College. Can someone admit to plagiarism or start being consistent with their naming.

Did you really need to begin your story with your intoxicating experience? I mean, can't you at least pretend to defy the immature/irresponsible/etc. etc. stereotype when you're taking down the man?

HUZZAH! conan, thank god! someone is finally writing about that ridiculous segment on "millenials". I saw it too, with my mother unfortunately, and it really angered me that this old guy essentially demonized our generation. There is NOthing wrong with wearing flip flops to work as long as im getting the work done right? The worst thing about that show was that im sure its target audience, aka people our parents age, have a completely skewed view of our generation. Why do i think this? because my mother does, she went on and on about how she shouldnt have cooed at me all those times because now i dont know how hard REAL life is...well all i have to say is that our parents definition of the real work world is changing and i think our generation is doing a great thing. People might actually start enjoying life now and we might begin to value things that actually matter (ie friends family!)
