I broke up with the bf...but if that is not an option, you need to be the most patient person in the world! And realize that he might never ask you to marry him because that means, gasp, growing up! Of course, sometimes you can tell that he's just going through a phase (quarter-life crisis or something) and just needs some time to come out of it.
