CC’s Expert Series: Starbucks Swaps with Hungry Girl

Love Starbucks but HATE all the fat and calories those Frappuccinos contain? Want to make delicious versions at home and save fat, calories, and LOTS of money?
Check out these guilt-free SWAPPUCCINOS, courtesy of your good pal Hungry Girl.
Hungry Girl’s Frozen White Chocolate Java-rama
(50 calories, <1 g fat, 5 carbs)
Make your own white chocolate frozen fantasy at home.
Into 5 oz. of water, stir in 1 teaspoon of Taster’s Choice Vanilla Roast instant coffee, 2 Splenda packets, and an ounce of Torani Sugar Free White Chocolate Syrup.
Pour into a blender, add 3 – 5 ice cubes, a splash of original fat free liquid Coffeemate and and 2 oz. of light vanilla soy milk. Blend on highest speed for 30 seconds.
Serve in a tall glass with a dollop of Fat Free Reddi-Wip. A white chocolate wonder!
Hungry Girl’s Ooey Gooey Caramel Apple Cider
(50 calories, less than 1g of fat, 10 carbs)
Hot cider with caramel & whipped cream doesn’t have to set you back hundreds of calories.
To make this apple-licious treat at home, mix a packet of Alpine Sugar Free Spiced Cider with 6 – 8 oz. of water. Add a teaspoon of T. Marzetti’s Light Caramel Apple Dip — then top with a small cloud of Fat Free Reddi-Wip. Mmmmm!
Hungry Girl’s Strawberry Cloud
(130 calories, 1g fat)
Ingredients:
2/3 cup frozen strawberries (just plain- NOT in syrup!)
5 oz. light vanilla soy milk
2 tsp. Fat Free French Vanilla Coffee-mate powder (dissolved in an oz of warm water)
1 oz. Sugar Free Torani Strawberry Syrup
3 Splenda packets
3 large ice cubes Fat Free Reddi-Wip
Place all of the ingredients in blender, except for the whipped cream. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds. Pour, and top with Fat Free Reddi-Wip. Strawberrylicious!
Hungry Girl’s Vanilla Cafe Freeze
(98 calories, 1g fat)
Ingredients:
5 oz. light vanilla soy milk
3 tsp. Fat Free French Vanilla Coffee-mate powder (dissolved in an oz of warm water)
1 flat tsp. instant coffee 1 oz. Torani Sugar Free Vanilla Syrup
3 Splenda packets
5-7 large ice cubes
Fat Free Reddi-Wip
Place all of the ingredients in blender, except for the whipped cream. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds. Pour, and top with Fat Free Reddi-Wip. A vanilla dream!
Hungry Girl’s Mint Mocha Freeze
(58 calories, 0g fat)
Ingredients:
6 oz. water
3 tsp. Fat Free French Vanilla Coffee-mate powder (dissolved in an oz of warm water)
1 flat tsp. instant coffee 1 Tbsp. sugar free chocolate syrup
1 oz. Torani Sugar Free Peppermint Syrup
3 Splenda packets
5-7 large ice cubes
Fat Free Reddi-Wip
Place all of the ingredients in blender, except for the whipped cream. Blend on high speed for 30-45 seconds. Pour, and top with Fat Free Reddi-Wip. A magical, minty-licious frozen treat!
