my sister's story is sort of like yours; she wanted to major in nutrition but had to switch out because she couldn't get past the basic bio and chem classes. now she has to change her major and has no idea what she wants to do.

Honestly though? My GPA jumped pretty fantastically after the change, and I was just happier in college overall, which made the parents VERY happy because there were no agonizing phone calls about how much life sucked when it cost them a small fortune to get me there. Again, I was VERY lucky, my parents are amazingly supportive, so that worked in my favor.

Now I'm trying to pick up the pieces and find someone who will hire me without a degree. But actually, I don't regret anything because I know I made the right choice. =)

I laughed before I came to school, but now after about 4 changes, I believe it.

I do, however, have many friends who have changed their majors and a few who haven't and are very unhappy. I commend you for recognizing that you could be happier doing something else and then taking the appropriate steps to make the changes that needed to be made.
