I have only just watched it now for the 1st time (I know, pretty late) and the fact i am writing this is testament to just how bad it was. COMFORTABLY THE WORST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN!!!

1) The wolves aren't just a bad idea, they are visually unrealistic

2) When starting a fire, what nob end goes for books 1st? they could have used one for kindling, sure, but these supposedly intelligent A grade super geeks for some random reason think "hey, lets just burn the f***ing books" – remember at this stage the majority are still uncertain about how bad their situation could get.

3) Some of the poorest acting performances since Dick van dyck in Mary Poppins. Being English, trust me the portrayals of the English folk were abysmal….. "To England"…. "No, to Manchester United". Appaling!

But… Oh man, I have NEVER had so much fun watching a movie. I laughed so hard I cried, it was so stupid.

Especially when that one kid comes up to him and says something like " Just tell her how you feel, bro." I just about died.

And Dennis Quaid i guess can travel hundreds of miles in nothing but a winter jacket becaus HE IS PROTECTED BY THE POWER OF FATHERLY LOVE.
