God forbid a celebrity isn't worshipping the ground that Obama walks on. Didn't realize Jon Voight wasn't entitled to an opinion. If it was a celebrity bashing a republican you wouldn't bat an eye, so try to hide your bias at least a little bit.

Thank you Alexis! It's cool that most of you girls are liberal, I mean there are multiple parties for a reason, but are any of the CC writers conservative? You do have at least some conservative readers, so can you try not to bash our opinions so much.

I just think what Voigt is writing is not just anti-Obama, but it's just propaganda, really. He doesn't take an in-depth look into Obama and his stance, but rather a surface one. I don't expect everyone to loooove Obama or, on the other hand, McCain, but I do expect a modicum of respect and research.
Hmmm, and does one really NEED an article on how to follow one's intuition? Shouldn't that be obvious?

Please, the media's coverage of Obama has been absolutely ridiculous. You'd think he was the second coming of Christ the way people talk about him. The second someone says they disagree with him or don't like his stances (god Forbid), people just say they aren't looking into it enough. Just let them have their opinions.
If he had said something about McCain and how horrible he was I bet this website would love him.

I think I've heard that he IS the second coming. (that right there should be a red flag) all I hear is how great he is, I never hear any of these great things though, just that he is great. I've never actually heard him take a stance on anything, I've just heard him put down McCain's ideas.

John V. was saying some pretty unfounded things..
However, I agree that the media’s new Girlfriend is Obama.
But at least he doesn’t have pesky “senior moments” that cause him to mix up some serious Middle Eastern facts…

for the love of all that is good and holy, PLEASE find something more original to criticize MAC about than just his age. it's ridiculous. obama has a lot of problems that people tend to forget about because he's "so pretty". diplomacy with iran is sure to work, ok pretty man.
most of these comments are a pretty respectful way of asking you guys to provide a little more coverage of the GOP. is it asking too much for that without being so bitchy? jesus.
oh and ps, why the f*ck are you listening to celebs talk politics anyway? there's a reason there's so much action in the beltway.

Doesn't CC count as "the media"? So aren't the writers just as entitled to their opinions as the NYT? There's always somewhere to go if you want political talk to fall in line with your own beliefs, leave CC alone. I think it was an interesting article and I'm glad CC pointed me in that direction (and I don't support Obama OR McCain).

PS I don't think J-NYU was being bitchy at all.

KB…of course they’re entitled to their opinions. But the writers here always try to say how they bring both sides to whatever they’re writing about and I just don’t usually see it. I don’t care who’s liberal and who’s conservative..but don’t try and pretend that you show both sides when you clearly don’t.

Amanda, could you please direct me to where EXACTLY it says that "the writers here always try to say how they bring both sides to whatever they’re writing about"?

I know I've read that in past posts, I liked the earlier posts on CC a lot better, they weren't as biased and they were more fun to read. The opinions of the writers are becoming more and more clear with every post, which is ok, everyone is entitled to an opinion. It just sucks for us committed readers that don't share the same opinions to see one of our favorite sights change for, in our opinions, the worst. I think I continue reading every day out of habit, or with hopes that it will go back to how it was.

Thank God for Jon Voight. I'd love to see him wear one of these anti obama t shirts to the Oscars.
