In fact, our children were born two months apart the year after graduation.

I learned so much, helped by my sisters, and think back on that time as one of the happiest times of my life.

Give pledging a shot. It is not how it has been portrayed in movies and some news stories. It is sisterhood and love and assistance. We were middle class women who worked our ways through school and bonded on a level that we would have not achieved in any other way.

Go for it.
