small purses are definitely a good idea, but what small purse can carry both a bottle of water AND flip flops? you could always just opt for semi-comfortable shoes and just grin and bear it

I usually see them in the section for sample size stuff, at Target or the like. They were my saviors when I backpacked through Europe, so they'll probably do the job for a party, too.

They are my FAVE going out accessory. This way you can fit all the stuff in there and you don't even have to put it down to make that celebrity beruit shot.

You can downgrade a whole roll of toilet paper to those handy portable kleenex to fit inside your wristlet but as for the flip flops you are on your own. I would sacrifice cute for comfort if you are really that concerned.
