For those days when you decide to zone out in lecture, sit in the back of the crowd so you don't distract whoever is behind you when they are trying to pay attention.

But yeah, you don't learn anything by just being in class, I've had a few of my professors remind us of that … you actually have to pay attention, not surf Facebook for 2 hours or catch up on your emails.

My accounting prof brought down the gauntlet on laptops last week.

"No Facebooking or playing solitare! You didn't pay tution to surf the internet at school!"

i would just like to add that even if you're texting below-desk we can hear the clicking of the damn buttons and its super annoying. esp phones with numerical typing- that's liek 300 clicks per text on average? right.

also, people who are obviously chatting it up furiously on AIM- we can tell when you're taking notes vs talking shit about your roommate to your bff from high school across the country.

and for god sakes no webcams.
