Paying Your Bills With Sex: Life as a Legal Prostitue

natalie.jpghoward.jpgWith all this talk about Howard Stern helping to auction a college grad’s virginity off at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch (a legal brothel) in Nevada, we here at CC have got to talking about legal prostitution and how strange that life must be.

Natalie Dylan (not the girl’s real name) is a Sacramento State graduate currently seeking a way to pay off her student loans.  Naturally, the 22-year-old brunette thought that letting the highest bidder take her V-Card was the best way to score fast, tax-free cash. Somehow Stern is involved, and because he’s involved, everyone and their mother is buzzing about the morality of the issue.

But we’re not interested in whether God likes it if you let dudes pay you for sex.  We’re interested in what life must be like inside the Moonlight Bunny Ranch.  Do prostitutes really like their job?  Does it ever get…like…tiring?  Are they happy?  Damaged?  And what about the guys who go there?

A few years ago, 20/20 did a report on the Moonlight Ranch, and we were able to find a clip where a lot of the girls spoke about their future plans, and why they were legal prostitutes in the first place.  What’s interesting is that even though none of the women seem out and out unhappy, there’s a distinct hardness to everyone. I’m here because I have to be their eyes seem to be saying, I’m here and I’m fine.

    in a few months she'll have her own reality show or something ridic. as soon as the bunny ranch and stern are involved…it's a publicity stunt. she's no virgin.

    Go out and get an 'effin job like the rest of us.

    It just goes to show that moral decline is on the rise and that people would do absolutely anything for money.

    I'm going to leave school with close to $25,000 in student loan debt… you won't see me selling my body to afford it.

    Michelle is right, moral decline must be on the rise… everyone has loans after college. everyone understands that the best way to pay these loans out is to work for it. whether you work at IBM, or TGI Fridays.

    if you're selling your body by absolute choice such as this chick is, flat out… you're a whore, and a lazy one at that. Not to mention the simple fact that the girl in the photo looks like she put a bag over her face when she went tanning, personally I think she should keep the bag on, it does wonders for her looks.

    Is moral can be measured by a real number and some unit? if not, it can't decline.

    If it can, give me an way so I can actually measure it.

    From what I've read, she is doing this to pay for grad school for herself and her older sister. Before they went to undergrad, the sister worked at the Bunny Ranch to pay for school for the two of them. The story is that they can't get loans because their step-father took out student loans in their names and took off. He is now a fugitive, and they can't get any money for school because of him.

    They want to be family therapists. (Which is a whole different discussion)

    The whole thing is interesting to me. I don't necessarily agree with it, but to each her own.

    By the way…could her makeup look any worse in that picture? Her face is like 8 shades lighter than the rest of her body!

    Personally I think its no one's business but those women's why they charge for sex. I'm not going to judge someone on how they make their money, because to some people sex is not that big of a deal, and hey if you can make money off it, especially good money like this, then more power to you. Say and call them what you like, but these girls are at least becoming debt free, and doing it quick and legally.
