I hate how hyped people are about this.

It's facebook, alright, there are more important things to get uppity about than a website interface change. Besides, it's not that bad, people are just stubborn.

I honestly don't see what the BFD is about the 'new' facebook. Does it really matter? To me, everyone who is whining about the new facebook is a crochety old lady who wants her toast crisp, but not too crisp, and her bacon soggy. It looks different. Get over it.

I find it amusing that the facebook people apparently did this to return it to the original(old OLD) format without all the flashy nonsense, like badges and buttons and zippy things. Perhaps clean things up a bit. People have nothing else better to do with themselves.

Jesus its now a crime to not like something. I don't like the new facebook. I also don't like having to wait in line- are there more important things yes. But I"d love for all of you who are like 'blah blah what's the big deal blah blah' to tell me you NEVER EVER get upset or annoyed at something where there's nothing in the world worse than. Its not a big deal its annoying to me. I don't like forced change- I like to have an opinion and a right to voice it. Could I quit yes; but I don't feel like it. IF there was a law that said you have to spin three times before getting on a bus, would do it or not ride the bus, or try to get it changed?

this doesn't work anymore. so don't think by doing this you can reverse facebook's permanent change. unfortunately, we're now stuck with this garbage

It worked for me this morning, then it switched back to the new format.

The worst thing is – is that I didn't click on "Try the new Facebook" link. I just logged in one day & it was in the new format.

BTW, yes Allison – there are many other things to worrry about; however, it's about personal choice. Not too many people are pleased with the new Facebook. Not stubborn, just particular! ;)

    Cheers all.

    Mark

I haven't been on for a while. I hate the new interface, just when I was getting the hang of the old one. They should give us the option of keeping the old one, what's the harm in the that?

Heaven forbid new facebook give me a way to write on someone's wall without my browser freezing up or without scrolling through shitty applications.

I like new facebook because I am intelligent and can adapt to change.

"I like new facebook because I am intelligent and can adapt to change."

No, you like it because you like the aesthetic. It is not a matter of intelligence.

Actually, a lot of people don't like it because they find it a challenge to figure out. Therefore it takes a modicum of intelligence to navigate it.

P.S. Don't tell me why I like something.

Hi, I consider myself pretty intelligent however I don't think that facebook was ever a place where I needed to prove my intelligence or feel challenged when trying to navigate the site. Half the "fun" of facebook was the bumper stickers, and "shitty" apps. I personally at least liked to see people's favorite quotes, movies, music, and interests without going to a different page. I have much more of a chance of having my browser freeze trying to click on twelve different pages just to find all of the things I used to be able to see on one page.

…and i thought the news feed and mini-feed were bad! :(

I don't know if this method will work anymore. I've found one that seems to have done the trick: go to
    http://www.facebook.com/?ref=logo#!/group.php?gid… for a

link to the tutorial. you have to fill out a quick ad first but it

    works… did for me anyways.
