According to Hollyscoop.com (and tons of other sites on the web today) Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the one reigning Republican on The View is getting wicked pissed that all the other loud-talking ladies on her show are always going after to her when it comes to politics.
It seems like Barbara Walters is even planning a “cool down meeting” to keep little Hasselbeck from jumping ship and heading over to Fox News.
I don’t really watch The View, but I can only imagine what it would be like to have Whoopie, Joy, that other lady, and Barbara Walters jumping down your throat every day. However, to be fair, whenever I turn the show on by accident, Hasselbeck is usually talking awfully loud about something that isn’t interesting.

Look, I understand all of us have opinions, but I am so tired of Elisabeth inturrupting all the other women on the View! Let them have their say! I am one that is very opinionated, but I try to allow people to have their own views and express them! Your view is not the only one, and definitely not always the one that is right, that is what makes it an OPINION!!! Shut up, just for a minute, and let someone else talk, for goodness sakes!

To be honest, I wouldn’t mind if she left The View. She’s always interjecting politics when it needn’t be interjected, which usually brings pain upon herself.

I actually like elisabeth on the view she just needs someone to back her up like the others back up each other we all dont have the same opinions as whoopi or joan or even barbara. i think the show is unbalanced and bias by not getting different points of view. and elisabeth has to fight her point across or she will never get to speak. i think ppl need to back off elisabeth she is doing the best she can when she clearly has no back up. good job elisabeth

That, and what the fuck credentials does she have for doing a news show? The only other thing she has does is SURVIVOR. Not exactly a stellar resume for going into a major news station.

I agree they need a balance. Without Elizabeth The View should move to NBC, the most liberal one-sided channel out there. And Lauren why dont YOU TRY to educate yourself and do some research yourself on the records of these politicians instead of just listening to CNN and the rest of the left sided media. I always switch around the channels between CNBC, FOX and CNN just to see who they are interviewing and who they have as consultants. I have to say FOX always has both sides of the parties on their shows unlike some of the other “News” networks.

The few times I have seen clips from the View it seems VERY unbalanced and Elizabeth just getting hammered. The rest of the hens resort to calling her stupid, nice argument. Not sure what qualifies Whoopi to be so wise…she was a comedian and did bring the world “Sister Act” multiple times.
As for FOX being unbalanced and ‘just looking for another hot and popular girl’, I would google the CV’s of the FOX female commentators.

Elisabeth – You should have left the view a while ago. You are TOO GOOD for that group of ladies and it’s viewers. I used to enjoy watching the view and I will occassionally turn it on – only to turn it back off. I get tense watching a show that should be light and fun, filled with views of others like myself. The view is only seeing one side and they are the views of Joy – Whoopie and Rosie. People that insist on always being right and never listening or understanding the views of others only if it is their view. Go Elisabeth – Run and get out of there as fast as you can. I enjoyed watching Elisabeth on Huckabeees new show. There is a much better place for her> FOX is it!

If she does not have the camera on her all of the time, she gets annoyed. The girls have to interrupt her to get something in as this is what she does to all of them. I can’t believe people think Elisabeth is the only one interrupting. PLEASE….they All do. I don’t know how she puts up with 3 or 4 ganging up on her daily. Think about the age spread….Barbara in her 70’s, Joy in her 60’s, Whoopi in her 50’s, Sherri in her 40’s and Elisabeth in her 30’s. Many generations and many Views but she is the only conservative. Is that right? I don’t think so. It is not a balanced panel. I personally believe that Joy is more set in her ways and unbendable then Elisabeth. Joy looks down on anyone who doesn’t believe the same way as her. The thing that bothers me the most is ANY ONE who gets on national television and calls the president, be it a Republican or a Democrat, stupid etc. NO RESPECT!

Did you notice today (Friday) that after the most watched debate in our history that The View didn’t say one word about it? Most of our media is Democrat and I guess with Palin’s stellar performance last night wasn’t worth mentioning and their philosophy was if there is something nice to say about Palin, don’t say anything at all. Yesterday they all had questions they would ask her. After seeing the Mc Cain badgering I stopped watching the show. I’ll stick to

Elizabeth needs to be applauded. NO ONE would like being ganged up on by 3-4 people everyday. The show does not meet the whole premise of the show which is the view of all. Well it seems to me a Republican view and 3-4 Liberal Democratic views. What happened to the Independent view? How also is it all view points? It should be half and half, two Republicans, two Democrats, and a Barbara. It could also be two Independents and one each of the others and a Barbara. So on… FAIR AND EVERY POINT OF VIEW. That would be common sense to me. Why is nobody talking or blogging on what Sherri said the other day? She said Obama’s hair was getting more white in it. She then said that any more white he can get will help him. It is not a quote. Why is nobody stating that would be considered racist if said the opposite way? I think this is crazy and insane. Why can’t people see the obvious when it’s right in their faces? PLEASE! ELIZABETH RULES!!!!!!
