A big thanks to Buzzfeed for this picture.  Upon first viewing, I literally melted into a puddle on my chair.  Suddenly, everything is all right with the world.

    I think it’s a mouse deer. I got to see them at the night zoo in Singapore. They’re wicked cute.

    awwwe :) . my cousin had one too and it died. I heard their bodies can’t take the gravitational pull on earth and when they die their little legs are smashed apart from each other. It’s so sad :( . My cousin said it has a faint moaning sound when gasping for air :( . He put it out of its misery though with a shovel :( .

    Very precious. Until you realize that this fawn has a mother that is going nuts wondering where her child is….and that this fawn may very well never know it’s mother… and face hard times ahead being raised on milk not meant for it….possibly to be released back into the wild by misguided individuals who think this is cute…under the assumption that all humans are safe….and then get shot and eaten.

    Jason, this fawn’s mother is already dead. It was rescued from her stomach while she was dying, and that’s why it’s so small. Its name is Rupert. Please don’t make judgements based on a single picture without knowing all of the facts. That fawn would have died with its mother without our help.
