I don't think so there is any harm in dressing your children in Native American costumes.People from long times are dressing in the same sense,its not at all biased. Why are we just talking about native American costumes talk about others. Today we can see that during Halloween everybody dresses in the way they want ,in the most funniest and sexiest way. Few days before i was surfing on net and came across a website which have got great costumes for the 4th of July.Check out this link

People dress their kids like Pilgrims too, or people from medieval times, or Chinese Geisha's, or cave people. It's all the same concept.
