At the risk of sounding like a jerk: This probably is similar to how I choose women. There is a threshold of intelligence she needs to be above, then the prettier the better. I suppose it is similar for women choosing men?

I agree with Jen and Kaley--Men need to have both to really stand a chance with women. However, if the poll read: a. intelligent convo, but ugly. b. not intelligent, but hot. You'd probably see more people go for the 2nd option. I feel like people who voted for "Intelligent conversation is far more important than perfect hair" are still assuming the guy is relatively attractive, which compromises the argument of the results. Hopefully everyone can find the best of both worlds in their partners. http://ridiculove.blogspot.com

Right now I happen to have an incredibly attractive and incredibly intelligent boyfriend. I don't know how it happened because I'm never that lucky, but the point is that a little bit of both is definitely needed. Also boys: If you think we don't care that you're the only one who gets something in the end out of sex… you are wrong. Working on that together can be fun.
