wow E, someone's defensive. And you kind of proved Words point on bi relationships being a new thing that previous generations didn't have to deal with when you said people are only more open about it now. It wasn't out in the open like it is today until the past 10-15 years. And "rightfully" is only your opinion, not how the majority feels, and also "rightfully" they have their own opinion, there is no "right and wrong" when it comes to opinions so there is no point getting defensive toward someone else because they don't agree with you.

Also, why just because someone is bisexual does that make it ok for them to not be in a monogamous relationship? So it shouldn't look weird for me as a straight girl to walk down the street holding my two boyfriends hands and making out with both of them while they each sit there glaring at each other cause they both "love me". and in that case can your girlfriend have a boyfriend, or another girlfriend? and can their girlfriend/boyfriend have another girlfriend/boyfriend, why doesn't the whole world just make one long chain relationship and we can all have one big orgy.

"Relationships with bisexuals are as a whole, new territory that generations before us didn’t really have to deal with."

Ummm are you kidding me? Bisexuality didn't just pop out of nowhere in the last 10 years...It's been around just as long as human sexuality has been around: and thus relationships with bisexuals have also existed The difference is that people are (rightly) more open about it than in the past.

"HOWEVER, don’t you get into the situation where the guy can have a boyfriend, AND you as a girlfriend. I think those setups are ridiculous."

Right. YOU think those setups are ridiculous. That's fine that you're uncomfortable with it but that doesn't mean that everyone else is going to feel uncomfortable. I'm a bisexual girl and I've been dating my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years...we're very much in love and have been living together for a year and a half...and he is completely comfortable with me having a girlfriend if I choose. I don't think the setup is ridiculous and neither does anyone else I know.

To anyone else: don't waste your time reading the blog. It's clearly written by someone who doesn't really understand human sexuality and relationships outside of the hetero norm...and even then it's generic info that everyone knows already.

Relationships with bisexuals are as a whole, new territory that generations before us didn't really have to deal with. I'd say as long as the "bi-guy" is monogamous, it's all good (and the rest of whether it can work falls on a lot of what Diana touched on).
