Hey guys, The form you fill out to determine how much in federal income tax is withheld from your paycheck is the Form W-4 Employee's Withholding Allowance Certificate, not the Form W-2. That is the wage reporting form you get at the end of the year to tell you how much you earned and how much were withheld in taxes.

And a piece of friendly advice (from yours truly, an accountant) you do not want your employer to withhold any more than necessary. Any excess you pay is essentially an interest free loan that you give to the government.

Good Luck!
