I admire the whole "everyone is beautiful" thing, but allow me to be cynical and callous for a while.

First of all, it's so easy for you to preach "love thyself", isn't it - you're classically gorgeous. I'd like to see a girl who's 300 pounds and has acne scars go down this route for once!

Second, there are two types of imperfections: the type which can be quirky and endearing, and the type which is just ugly. Moles have been considered so attractive throughout the history of fashion that people started gluing on fake ones! Hardly an "imperfection". Same goes for a broken nose (Adrien Brody totally rocks this), or freckles (I've been trying to make mine more prominent for years). Scars are also a good example, especially on guys, they can be very sexy.

Having said all that, there are imperfections which will never be attractive to anyone on the planet. That's things like a double chin, sun spots or lip hair.
