Contrary to what you might think Lauren, it did. I have seen these people drunk and sober. And they were 100% sober. Alcohol is not needed for people to act a little off the wall. It helps when the people wearing odd things are already willing to do stupid shit normally.

I'm on the 'call me an alcoholic' side of this one… sober "parties" tend to just be really boring, especially with large groups of people. I'm all for watching movies or playing games with my friends, but when its the weekend I want a drink to unwind and have some fun. It might sound bitchy but the only people who ever have fun at things like this are ones who don't drink anyway and are trying soo hard to pretend like it's a blast.

I highly doubt that guys wearing only boxers/people wearing boxes happened without the aid of alcohol.

I agree with Laura. It is a little sad that without alcohol, you're a little clueless in the fun department. Next time, make it a theme party. We had an awkward party one year (guys dressed in only towels, people wearing boxes…Yeah…) and it was a blast. People were laughing and having a great time.

Ever Try a Mimosa or Grow one! One of my favorite drinks is the Mimosa. I googled it today and actually found a plant with the latin name Mimosa pudica... Actually now its call the TickleMe Plant because it MOVES when you tickle it! That's right...the leaves close and even the branches droop when Tickled I can;t want to grow this is my dorm and give the TickleMe Plant kits to my buds for Christmas. Yeah we also have sober parties once in a while because our chapter adviser likes to be there sometime…And of course we don't know what to do at those parties. After a while we just don't show up whenever it's sober anymore.
