Hahhaaha... I love these little conversation at the ends of the posts. One thing that can make it a little smoother with meeting the father is finding out something that her father is into and learning some about it. I actually had one of my past girl's father looking forward to the next time I stopped by the house cause he had such a great time talking about amateur aviation with me.. You don't even need to know very much about whatever he's into.. just show interest.. and if he's a fanatic at his hobby he will have a blast having someone who is interested in it around. I've just found that showing interest in a hobby of the father's completely circumvents any of those awkward "So what are your plans for the future?" conversations with her parents that you know you'll run into at some point in time.
