I am a man, and will not pretend like I know what women like/want. However I assume you females want a nice, sweet, generous guy who thinks about you, cares about your opinions, and is looking for more than just sex in a relationship (but being a guy, yes, sex is almost mandatory). I am very intelligent, caring, compassionate, and extremely helpful. I'll take the shirt off of my back to help out someone in need (especially ladies), however I must say that trying to be true to myself and as ideal of a guy which I can possibly be without lying about who I am, has only gotten me laid by 2 girls. I'm 22. And the first one (first girlfriend) borrowed money from me and cheated on me. The second one suffered from a drug overdose and told the police that I was involved, and now I may be going to prison if everything doesn't go perfectly for me. And that really sucks, I try so hard to find someone, and I just get screwed over. I'm very comfortable with who I am, I'm a caring guy, I'm more than smart enough, I have many talents (won't say I'm hot, but I'm told I'm not ugly) and girls just tend to screw me over. I don't get it, I must just have been involved with the bad ones. But from my personal experience (not great at detecting when a girl is interested in me…) women honestly don't give a damn if you are the honest guy. They tend to go for A-holes.

ladies, what about a nice, genuine boy who is really the man of your dreams at heart, but knows exactly how to play the game and play it well? are there any women out there who love a genuine guy, but don't mind that he's well experienced and can make you go crazy (in more ways than one)?

Whenever you run these polls about guys they’re really one sided and pointless. Who wants a player? Personality/Style (like your preppy/sporty poll or sensitive/strong) will always be about even because different girls have different tastes. If guys need these polls to figure out girls, they probably shouldn’t be dating. Girls like guys who are comfortable in their own skin. That’s it.

Cali, I disagree. In the world outside of college and sex and the city playing games does no good. If you meet someone and you hit it off with them, (they like you, you like them) then there is no reason not to call right away. If two people genuinely like each other and get along then playing games can only ruin a good thing. I have never played games, and honestly can't stand guys who do. It's stupid and petty and a relationship built on manipulation and closed communication is not worth the wasted time spent on it.

Honestly? I like a little bit of player in a boy. The whole "wait three days" thing seems juvenile but if they call right away it honestly makes them seem clingy and desperate for attention and who likes that in a guy?

I mean I'm all for being honest but the truth of the matter is if a guy wants to get the girl he is gonna have to play a little hard to get. Playing the game helps guys that normally wouldn't get attention from girls get their attention…if that makes any sense

In my head I say I like the honest guys, but I find myself going time and time again after the "players." I just can't help it.. the other ones are so boring. Maybe in time I'll grow up.

Who actually WANTS a player?? Sure, I don't necessarily want your typical nice boy, but I do need someone to be straight up with me.
