I, like many of the Sox fans that I know, are pretty happy with not getting Teix. Not that we wanted him to go to NYY (I was crossing my fingers for LAA), but we would’ve lost two starting gold-glovers if we took on the contract that is Mark Teixeira. So, other than that he’s the hottest player to ever grace those pin-stripes, I’m not really that affected.
