Hamas was elected democratically. They are not terrorists the military part of Hamas is only trying to defend themselves.

Israel has put strict borders on Palestine. Food can't get in neither can necessary humanitarian aid. I know that if I was trapped in a cage as these poor people are I would try and get attention and the world to see the injustice being done.

And about the ceasefire.

November 4th of last year Israel broke the ceasefire by attacking Palestine and in defense Palestine attacked back. Thats only fair buddy. Check out CNN. If you dont believe me.

In addition to all of this compare Israel and Palestine. Israel has state of the art weapons they attacked the poor Palestineans with phospohorous bombs which is AGAINST international law. They know they have the USA and Britain behind them so they dont care. This world is really depressing. It sickens me too see how heartless the zionist state of Israel is. Don't get me wrong I have no problem with Jews. Zionists are completely different. SO noone should bring up that Jews hate Muslims or Muslims hate Jews bullshit

if this turns into the US will be involved, weather its right or wrong what israel is doing to gaza strip does not matter, all that matters is the united states continues to arm and defend israel and will unitll the bitter end

Dear god. The only somewhat peaceful religions I've seen so far is the eastern religions, (ie Buddhists) and I know even they have tons of crap to deal with. It just makes me so sad, and so sick to my stomach.

God must be really disappointed.

And think about it: if someone bombed US (or ran planes into our buildings) we would do whatever we could to protect ourselves. That's the reason we went into Iraq (allegedly) and Afghanistan, isnt it?

Israel has caused massive destruction and murder in its efforts against Hamas, but no one seems to say anything about the bombs being lobbed at Israel. Every country has aright to protect itself, and that is what Israel is doing.

It is true that there is a lot of hollow talking going around, but it's only because no action is being taken. How many governments in the world have taken political action against Israel? (trade embargos etc.?) Were it any other country in the world, they'd have already been threatened by economic sanctions. Not to mention the billions of dollars the US shovels into Israel every year in support of its military.

Another important double standard, is the problem of nuclear weapons. Israel is the only country to develope nuclear weapons without ever being labeled as evil. (look at Iran, North Korea. You might say these are rogue states, but there's a double standard right there. Israel = good, ok to have nukes. Iran, N. Korea = bad, not Ok to have nukes).

It's true. There is some talk condemning Israel's actions. But it's only a small response to the lack of political action on the part of western governments caused by a double standard already at play in favor of Israel.
