I'm sorry, this is complete BS. Its a matter of priorities, we still put physical looks and "femininity" on a higher priority than world-accomplishments. If Megan Fox had a PhD, she'd be no less attractive to us than she is. In fact, the biggest crush of my life was a girl who's 10x smarter then I am (she had 2 diplomas by 23, and working on a PhD). But she was super-cute, super charming and "feminine", and her intelligence just increased her attractiveness.

There is nothing taboo about being feminist… It has more to do with the radical, insane aspects associated with it. I'll be blunt. Most of the well-versed and better-read women are very unbalanced. They lack social skills, charm and have let-go of their looks and flirting skills in favor of career. And when we don't want anything to do with them, they blame it on "intimidation of her success". Complete BS.

Lol, I did read my last statement and it does sound kind of preachy. I guess I always think politics when folks say "liberal," but that isn't always true! I went back and read your post, and I'm definitely NOT an elitist who thinks all Christian conservatives are wacko rednecks.

But I'm curious what you get out of this site if you find it "extremely liberal." Why come here at all, why not go to a place that is more in alignment with your views on sex, dating, drinking, etc. Just an honest question, not trying to be confrontational or anything

You could almost look at Ann Coulter as the epitome of feminism-she is out there, spewing out her ideas and beliefs and making a great living off of it. She might be batshit crazy, but 50 years ago she wouldn't have been able to make a living off of being batshit crazy.

Ann Coulter doesn't represent all women. She isn't the only woman in the media. I hardly doubt I'm going to go on a date with some guy and he's going to assume that I'm nuts because Ann Coulter is nuts. You would never, ever, write this article about a public male figure and say he represents/ruins things for all men.

Nobody said that College Candy strictly writes about politics. Nor did anybody bash college candy in the comments- so getting all defensive and telling people to go read stuff that aligns with their own views is just pointless.
