Plenty of girls do emotional cheating as well, as Candy's post well illustrates. I'd even venture that girls do it more than guys do. However as Candy's post illustrates, girls tend to always have excuses for why when they do it it doesn't matter. She's even away that she'd go ape if her bf did the same thing with or sister, or even another girl. No girl called Candy out even slightly.

Emotional cheating isn't cheating. It holds some danger of cheating, but it isn't cheating. I think we tend to be most worried about it when we think there's a strong danger of the physical cheating occurring. There's often more danger than is acknowledged.

If God was fair, he'd make all men like this! My boyfriend was at my friend's house with a few other girls and they all ended up snuggling under the covers and watching a movie on the computer. Apparently my boyfriend was holding hands with one of the girls while snuggled up next to her during the movie. They both say that's not cheating, but I say it is.

Yeah my boyfriend and I have definitely had that talk after I saw his AIM where he was chatting with his (hottie) friend across the country, but they were being soooo disrespectful and I was crushed that he was talking to another girl that way...

There are ways you talk to your friends of the opposite sex when you're in a relationship with someone, and joking about who can "have" who first and why that person's intellectually and physically attractive to you is not one of them!

He said he was sorry, and that he just hadn't thought about it, or even figured I would ever see it, didnt mean anything by it and wouldnt do it again.

I made him write the girl and tell her how out of line he was for initiating that convo and that he hurt his gf by doing so. Ha. The girl felt like a total bitch and I believe was truly sorry. I really appreciated that he respected me enough to write her back also.

But thats definitely crossing the line IMO.

an admission from me that this has just brought out and i probably wouldnt have told anyone otherwise: me and my fiancee have a slightly volatile relationship and therefore im left craving some sort of appreciation (he is usually too). His brother, however, is not in a relationship. I'm not sexually attracted to the brother in any way - we're friends at most, but sometimes we hug, he gives me backrubs (i freelance draw/use laptop a lot and therefore regularly have a sore back) and sometimes we kinda snuggle or get close. I don't know how i feel about it, i dont consider it cheating, its never done in spite, we've never kissed or touched in any way that could be cheating, but i'd still feel bad if my fiancee walked in one day when we were hugging or playing or something.

I feel like a total bitch, because i always have and will swear i will never cheat, yet in some people's eyes this is cheating.

I know girls tend to have way more rivalry than boys, but if i ever saw my fiancee with someone else, and pray god if it was my sister, i'd flatten the both of them :/

sometimes i wonder, am i teasing the other boy, is he trying to tease me, or is it totally innocent? :/
