Lada Gaga Hates Pants

The other night my mom called me to ask about some singer (“GooGoo? FaFa?”) that was performing on TV with “panty hose on OVER her thong! I could see her butt!” I kindly explained to my mother that her name is Lady Gaga (“Mother, it’s Gaga. GAGA!!”) and that maybe that was just a costume for that particular performance.

But then I went online to avoid listening to my boring Physics lecture to check out some of Lady Gaga’s jams and realized that this girl really hates wearing pants. I mean, she never wears them. Not just for performances – never. Not on the streets, not at parties… ne-ver. It’s like that bad Britney phase.

I mean, the girl has killer legs, but this is a little O.O.C. (Out of control, people; keep up!) She’s getting dangerously close to camel-toe land. I swear, “Just Dance” should be called “Just (Take Off Your Pants and) Dance,” or “Just Dance With Your Goodies Hanging Out.” Although those wouldn’t have quite the same ring.

    Wow!!! I guess she thinks it will be a new fashion statement or something…. I don't know what the hell she thinks she is doing but it is AWFUL!!!!! I guess that after girls started wearing leggings for pants we thought "this is as bad as it gets"…WE WERE WRONG!

    it's just her style, and she pulls it off. at least she's not faking being a lesbian or running people over in her car. there are worse things she could be doing than not wearing pants.

    It's probably just the the way she was told to dress by the music company to have a signature look, like how Christina wore weird stripper clothes for a while.

    Veronica – she IS actually talented and if you gave her record a listen you'd know it. She's original and doing something no one else ever has. She's a performer. Not many singers out there are.

    Betty, just curious, but how by owning her CD and listening to it would you be able to tell that she is a "performer" you can't see her "performing" on her album.

    But it's all about your taste in music, I don't care for her at all, but that's just me, apparently a lot of people do though otherwise she wouldn't be on the radio.

    Well, at least she actually went to college and got a degree in music which is enough background for me to determine she at least is educated on the topic. She can take that knowledge and express herself in whatever way she wants now. That's more than Britney Spears can say… Even though I love Britney… :D

    I personally really love Lady Gaga's originality and I think she really pushes the envelope with her music and her fashion.

    Uhm, Sweety Lady Gaga doesn't like to wear pants because her grandmother is blind. Lady Gaga is very close to her grandmother and her grandmother said that she could tell who people are by the more skin they show. Thus, resulting in why she doesnt wear pants, she wants her grandmother to be able to see her.

    As sexy as her legs and body are, I could do without the theatrics. I enjoy that wonderful voice God has given her. Such presence and doesn't sound as homogenized as so many other recorded singers.

    It's so nice to hear something that sounds more original, and her voice has such command of the songs. I cannot stop listening to the live acoustic performance where it was her at the piano in Australia in some bubble outfit. Nice legs, sure, but I'll settle for that great voice anytime.
