Hello Lady, go to a paint store and there they have a chart that show the coorls they have. Pick up a few of the coorls tabs you like and take them home and look at them on your wall. You can get a pretty good idea of what color you will want. For your purple carpet, have you thought of a cream color,or an off white, , then you could add a picture or two on the wall, like a picture of a horse or horses, butter flies or even pictures of the children.. Look in magzines for pictures of different ones. Or even make a small hanging quilt to hang on the wall. That would change the roon for the little boy and girl. If it was me painting the wall I would not try to blend the painted wall to the carpet. That is a hard thing to do. I would say go for thecream color walls with dark purple carpet. Look for pictures that you can fram your self. Oh i think I would paint the wood work in the bedroom the same color as the wall, if you paint it with the cream color. /what do you say?
