Dude, I totally agree with Jen. I personally was an addict to Masturbation and Pornography, starting around the age of 11. Like I use to sneak and Watch late night/morning HBO porn movies and masturbate until i fell asleep. This went till I was around 18. But then I Accepted the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and was Re-born again with a New a Heart and New desires. Christ's Spirit Lives within me and is the only thing that Has broken the shackles of Pornography and Masturbation. Totally by the Grace and power of God am I free from Masturbation…going on one year and 6 months free. So these comments are interesting. You know though, we do things we want to do (I think that's pretty obvious). So if someone wants to masturbate then they're not going to want to hear, know or see another way. Masturbation feels good and we think it affects no one else so why would it be bad? The reality is most of us don't like being accountable to someone 24/7. It's true that one time masturbating makes you a masturbator, just like one time lying makes you a liar. If there is a God and He judges us based on His laws/rules then we would all be guilty. But God (as you may have heard) sent His Son to take away our guilt before God. This sounds like a normal sunday sermon, but man we don't want to give up our sin. We like it too much and many times could not stop certain things if we tried (like bondage). God often gets a bad rep ( as a former athiest I know I gave Him a bad one). He's looked at like some crazy thing in the sky that made these rules that dumb christians follow to be a good person and have no fun. I challenge anyone who can, to look at the bible and study the character of God like you were a student studying any literary work. See what the theme of the bible is and how the main character is portrayed. So I wrote a sermon (haha) my bad, but I've had thoughts similar to what I read. Peace! Your girl, an ex-masturbator!!!
