How do you feel for me? I'm part Irish, Scottish and Italian - and if you go futher back, Spanish. I have dark hair with very pale skin and my features are dark. I can tan but I'll burn first. But my lips are dark, they aren't pinky there are like a beige colour and the only colour I feel comfortable wearing on my lips is brown. It the only colour (Brown, pink/brown or beige) that I can get away with on my lips. I have tried red and I just don't suit it whatsoever and don't get me started on pink, it makes my lips look smaller, just awful. It's hard finding a lip liner which matches my natural lips. But aside from that I like that late 80s - 90s look, and watching my mum when I was growing up she wore her make up the same and so I've copied. Personally I don't think you should wear lip liner too dark. Even though I wear brown I gently apply it so it doesn't go on full colour and look obvious, then I glide the colour inwards or wear matching lip stick/gloss. I personally hate it when girls wear just pink lip gloss; it's common, I associate it with wags and alot of the time it makes their lips look thinner. I love how Megan Fox lines her lips though. I just wish it was easy to find that pink-brown colour women wore in the 90s, not too pink but not too brown. And I find it amusing when women say lip liner on its own looks awful, yet these women wear lip stick or gloss on its own!lol! It looks just as ridiculous especially when the gloss begns to seep through the cracks of their mouths.

I think that lip liner that is darker than the lipstick looks very trashy and slutty. The only time you should ever use that is if you are walking the streets for money.

lia - sorry if I offended with that comment. I wish I was talented enough to be a theater major. I just meant you don't want to walk around looking like you just finished a performance of Guys & Dolls!

jena - yeah there are cases where you can do the two-toned thing right to add dimension, that's why I specifically mentioned Pam Anderson, she does the two-toned thing all wrong!
