I know Jason broke Melissa’s heart, but sorry, that happens. He said he couldn’t lie and keep going with something that wasn’t right, and I agree with him. And I know everyone is saying he’s such a jerk because he broke her heart “on national television,” but guess what? Melissa knew what she was getting into when she agreed to compete for a man’s love on a reality show. She should have been prepared to be dumped in front of millions of viewers.

Also, it makes perfect sense that things were different between them once all the cameras turned off. Falling in love with someone during all these fantastic, well planned-out dates is like a completely different world–it’s not reality. It’s no surprise to me that when shit got real, things changed between them.

I also think it’s unfair to call Jason an “a-hole” just because he was doing what he felt was right. Why should he and Melissa stay together just so America can continue believing that everyone who falls in love on TV has a “happily ever after”-type ending? He shouldn’t. I hold nothing against him for not waiting to tell her; better sooner than later! He was only being true to himself the best way he knew how, and we can’t judge him for it.

P.S. This shit makes for some good TV, amirite?

I completely agreed with Melissa when she said it was ridiculous that he didn't even try to make it work.
