I used to think that guys who carried condoms in their wallets were big cocky jerks…until I found myself naked in bed with a super hottie who not only didn’t have one on him (or, rather, in his wallet), but didn’t have one anywhere in his apartment. Talk about a buzz kill.
Now I like a man who comes prepared. Like a Boy Scout (only without the weird uniform…or maybe that could be fun). I mean, I’m not going to carry condoms around in my purse; women supply the birth control pill, so it’s up to the dude to bring the rubbers. At least that’s my feeling on the sitch. Besides, my going-out-bags barely have room for my camera, wallet and keys, let alone a box of Trojans.
The topic of birth control is one that comes up often in a relationship – long term or one night – so I wanted to see what the guys were thinking about it. Looks like we’re not the only ones freaking out about babies, ladies!

I always have condoms with me even though I'm on birth control. It isn't really a one-sided responsibility. I've given the condoms I've had to guy friends too that really needed it at the time, lol. So guys do forget. But most I know always have them handy.
Oh, and sex is wayyyy better without condoms.

I think it’s best to buy condoms whether you’re on the pill or not. as much as i hate to say it, condoms are necessary because it is the only method that prevents STDs.
If i do the deed with any guy, unless he has NO STDs whatsoever, i’ll still wear the condom even when im on the pill.

I used to feel pretty presumptuous too, but it’s a modern world. We have SCIENCE and FACTS about this stuff. I always have 2 condoms on me, precisely for that morning reason. It just doesn’t make sense, even when in a monogamous relationship, to not use 2 forms of protection. The other day my girlfriend mentioned a couple we know that only uses the pill because the guy “likes it better that way…” Ridiculous! We all know better than that, or at least I’d like to think so.

Both Men and WOMEN should carry condoms. How irresponisble of women to think it's up to men! You want penis? Yes then you need to carry a condom, you both want sex so you should both be responsible. For women we are exected to be on the Pill but it's really just back-up and thats why condoms are worn, that and NO ONE WANTS STDs! Grow up. Stop blaming guys.
