College Candy’s New York, New York Playlist
March 26, 2009 Posted in Cool Stuff

Okay, it’s my spring break and let me just say this: all of you living in NYC have absolutely no clue how fabulous your city is compared to the rest of the world. (Okay, actually, you probably do.)
But anyway, I’m spending my spring break in (you guessed it!) nowhere else but the Big Apple. So, to extend a big THANK YOU! to this city from saving me from what could have been a week of beer pong in my mom’s basement (ugh!), I created a playlist in its honor. Seriously – who knew there were so many damn songs about New York? Obviously, I’m not the only one in love.
And if you’re a little jealous that I’m chillin’ in Greenwich Village and you’re chillin’ on your smelly roommates futon, it’s okay. Check out the playlist here and just pretend.
Tell us what you're thinking...

I was in NY before and hated it, the people are assholes. Much prefer the west coast.

I don't think we're assholes, haha. I love my city and everything in it! I didn't realize how much I took for granted until I went away to school…ugh. Pizza seems to get worse the farther you go out of NY, lol. I can't wait to go back home for Spring Break and have some REAL Brooklyn-style pizza.

Shambolick, I have to disagree. I've visited new york 4 times now and I've found that New Yorkers are the most polite, interesting, and actually very friendly group of people I've known. (and I'm from the west coast too!)
