I can see your point and even agree with you in some cases, but what we have to understand is that the celebrities are not actually designing the pieces themselves. They have professional designers that will create pieces for them and then the creations get the celebrities stamp of approval to have their name on the clothing/shoes/accessories.

Wow. Nice vent, but c'mon, you really believe that people should be shouldn't be allowed to design clothes just because their famous? That's ridiculous. Just because I'm an engineer doesn't mean I can't also be a free-lance journalist. If people have another passion they have every right to pursue it.

I am not certain if this was written by a gal, but if it was, I'm a little ashamed at the cattiness of it all. Women should be encouraging each other to achieve their goals.

I understand that it sucks when celebrities (sometimes) get a free pass into whatever they want - and it turns out horribly, but that shouldn't put a stamp on ALL of them.

I love cupcakes as well, and I sometimes my cupcakes turn out a whole lot better than Betty's.

I totally agree with you except for Jessica Simpson (I LOVE her shoes!) and Jennifer Lopez, her stuff, although I haven't seen it in a couple years, used to be really cute. But I agree about everything else.
