Also nothing beats being out in nature…. or just walking around where you live. Once I swore that there was a hidden African country in my suburb. I also nearly wondered into a forest because there was a golden path and glowing light at the end! But I knew that it would just turn spooky if I actually went in. And the most sublime time ever was on a whale viewing platform on Stradbroke Island (off the coast of QLD, Australia) and the wind was rustling the leaves, I could hear the waves crashing on the shore below and the moon was almost full…. was with a really nice guy… etc.

Of course again, if you are tripping hard, sparklers and confetti are so fun. Better to be home bound though as I find I get a bit paranoid if there are lots of people about.

But I actually think this article was more satirical anyways. I don't think he was making fun of potheads, I think he was satirizing the cliche and stereotype that smoking weed has become. I think he was satirizing the people that make such stereotypes.

Notice, every single thing he listed are things that are the popular things, and things that people typically associate with a stoner. He did not once list a more obscure Pink Floyd album which sounds even better high than Dark Side of the Moon, called More. I also didn't once read that he did not list any shows like Stargate, or video games like World of Warcraft.

He is simply satirizing the stereotype, not the stoner.

marijuana use/general psychedelic consumption has been practiced since primitive times and according to my psychology text book, no one has ever died from marijuana alone. no one is addicted to marijuana either (people with addictive personalities can become addicted to anything, but marijuana, unlike nicotine, does not cause a psychological addiction). I know many successful adults that smoke marijuana and lead healthy, low-stress lives. given the astronomical figures of college students using marijuana and becoming productive members of society upon graduation, why would i write an article condemning it? Yes, it is illegal in america to smoke marijuana but it is not 'unhealthy' or 'dangerous' if used responsibly. Don't do it if you do not want to, you are not morally any more superior or socially any less 'cool' – seriously, who cares? I will leave you with this familiar yet insightful quote, “Who are you to judge the life I live? I know I'm not perfect and I don't live to be. But, before you start pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean."

I'm glad to see someone actually putting some fun ideas up for this wonderful day.

Today my friends and I went to a huge park and it was so fun. Everyone was cooking out and flying kites.
